About
A free study tool for the ASE echo boards
850+ cards across 65 subtopics, indexed to the National Board of Echocardiography’s official ASCeXAM blueprint.
I built this while studying for the ASCeXAM. I wanted a quick way to review concepts. I didn’t always have an hour for a review video or the patience to do another 30 multiple choice questions. Flashcards were the obvious tool, but surprisingly, no good echo deck existed for board review. So, I made one. Hopefully this helps you as much as it helped me.
Good luck studying,
What is it?
A spaced-repetition review deck and companion knowledge base for the Adult Echocardiography board exam. Flashcards distill high-yield facts from board-review study guides and guideline documents.
For a walkthrough of the daily loop, review modes, and keyboard shortcuts, see the How to use page.
Sources
The knowledge base and flashcards were curated from notes shared by Cardiovascular Disease fellows at UCSD, then organized by topic following the ASCeXAM Content Outline. Content was cross-referenced against American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines, with Claude Opus filling in gaps and assisting with the accuracy check. Mistakes are still possible. Please let me know if you find one!
